CrockPot Semi-Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

I love making chicken noodle soup but I am not one of those "make it from scratch" kinda gals.  Working full-time doesn't necessarily allow that...I try sometimes...but not in this case.
This is my recipe.

1- 32 oz container of chicken broth

1- 32 oz container of vegetable stock/broth
1 & 1/2 to 2 cups of dried (homemade style) noodles
3 Stalks of celery - I chop mine up small and get about 1 1/2 cups (chopped)
2 cups of chopped carrots - I like mine chopped small
1 tbsp minced garlic
1/2 cup chopped onion (fresh or frozen)
2-3 cups of chopped up cooked chicken
4 cups water
1 bay leaf
basil, oregano, garlic salt, salt and pepper (to taste)

This will fill a basic crock pot to the top...

I start out by cooking the onion and garlic on the stove top till the onion starts to become clear.  I then add the celery and carrots.  Cook them until they start to get a little tender.

Meanwhile, turn your crock pot on high and add the broths, bay leaf and seasonings.

When the vegetables start to get tender add the rest of the ingredients to the crock pot.

Cook on low for 5 - 6 hours (maybe longer

OR

Cook on high for 3-4 hours

Enjoy!
